Form:
Postive : S + Has/Have + Verb 3 (Past Participle)
Negative : S + Has/Have + Not + Verb 3 (Past participle)
Interrogative : Has/Have + S + Verb 3 (Past Particple)
Example:
- I have eaten lunch three times
- She has finished the test
- They have not been here
- Have you done your homework?
Usage:
1. The present perfect tense expresses the idea that something happened (or never happened) before now, at an unspecified time in the past. The exact time it happened is not important.
Example:
- I have moved into a new city
- She has seen the movie
- They have never met me
- Have you ever tried Sushi?
2. Don't use specific moment/time, such as yesterday, one year ago, last week, when I was a child, when I lived in Japan, at that moment, that day, one day, etc in Present Perfect Time. Use Specific time in Simple Past Tense.
Example :
- I have eaten my dinner last night (Incorrect)
- I have eaten my dinner or I ate my dinner last night (correct)
3. The present perfect expresses the activity that happens repeatedly before now.
The exact time is not important and not mentioned.

- She has bought that cakes many times
- Mr. Jacky has called his family six times since he arrived in London
4. The present perfect tense is also used with SINCE and FOR. It expresses a situation that began in the past and continues to the present.

- I have waited for since two hours ago
- We have been here since 7 o'clock
- She has listened to the teacher for one hour
- He has become a soccer player for fifteen years
- I haven't seen my family for three months
